November 2019 Income report

Check out my November 2019 income report from side hustle below.

This is to show you how much extra money you can make. It is worth it, even if you only have limited time to dedicate to it.

By documenting my journey, I want to hold myself accountable, but also inspire you to start a side hustle, if you haven’t already.

Why do you need an income from a side hustle?

We do it to achieve our long term goal to pay off the mortgage early.

This will be done by tracking our spend, better budgeting, thrifty lifestyle hacks, and by making some extra money as well. You might want to repay a debt, or save for an emergency fund. Or maybe you have upcoming expenses, or just want to make money on the side!

How to make money on the side

There are multiple ways to make money on the side: part time jobs, reselling your old stuff, matched betting, crafts etc.

I am at the very beginning of this journey and I am mainly focussing on online survey apps as a side hustle.

I am hoping to introduce additional streams of income with time and therefore improve my results. The ultimate goal is to start tackling our debt with some of the money we make!

What is an online survey app?

Survey apps are one of the pillars of the #debtfree community on the internet.

They pay you a few pennies or a pound for completing small tasks, such as a survey, uploading a receipt or reviewing a product.

Therefore, they really require some commitment and investment in terms of time, and we all know how hard it can be if you’re busy with work, a family or, well, just life.

Because of that, I am testing a few different apps at the moment, mainly for surveys and receipts scanning. Overall, it seems some of them provide a better return than others, but I will continue testing and will report back with a full review soon.

This month I earned money from: Snap my Eats, Curious CatOnePulse and Qmee.

Snap my Eats gives you £5.00 Amazon voucher if you upload on their app 15 receipts in a month. Any extra receipt will be a prize entry.

Curious Cat, One Pulse and Qmee are survey apps, where you get points for completing surveys, that are then converted into cash.

Certainly, this side hustle can be extremely profitable if you can dedicate some time to it. Personally, my results are based on sporadic use of a few days per month for a few minutes, I would estimate a total of a couple of hours per month.

My side hustle results for November 2019

One Pulse = £7.53

Curious Cat = £ 3.40

Snap My Eats = £ 5.00

Qmee = £ 3.58

Total is £23.09

I will include an additional source of income next month, come back to see how my income will change!
